As a part of third semester B.Ed we were assigned with the task of taking 10 online classes to the students of secondary school. so I have decided to take 5 classes for 8th standard students and five classes to the ninth standard students.For the 8 standard students I have choosen the chapter titled Rosa parks sat still which is an extract taken from Her biography. for the 9th standard students I had choosen the chapter titled the Jungle air crash by Juliane koepcke. Considering the free time of the students I have arranged two sessions of classes each day. My online classes started on 3rd November 2020. The first class was to the ninth standard students. I was dealing with the chapter in which I had a clear idea about what to be taught and what are the necessary things to be mentioned while dealing with such a chapter. So I have started my class at 2:30 in the afternonn. As instructed earlier the link was provided to Sangeetha miss, our optional teacher. She have forwarded the link to our principal. So both of them where admitted to my class from the beginning onwards. Even though I was a little bit nervous at the beginning but I was able to manage the class effectively. The students I got were so responsive that I was very comfortable while teaching them. So I have already prepared the slides for presenting while teaching them. So my class ended at 3:30 p.m. and I have completed two classes. So the next sessionThe next session was at 7:30 in the evening and it was arranged for the ninth standard students. The chapter I was dealing with was Rosa parks sat still and I have prepared all the necessary slides for presenting the chapter in front of the students.So by 8:30 I have completed my two more classes and from one day itself I was capable of completing the 4 class is out of 10 classes. On 4th November 2020 as in the previous day I have arranged a session at it 2:30 in the afternoon. So I was prescribed earlier I have also sent the link to our general education teacher Kochi tresia and today she also had observed my class.little From the previous class I felt the change that I was a little more confident.My communication skills were also improved. Then in the evening session I had arranged with two classes for the 9th standard students so it was just like in the previous class I was ready with all the slides necessary to convey the meaning. I have clearly explain the meaning of difficult words and through scaffolding questions explain the all the major points in the given text. Activities and assignments were given to them in the end of the class. So in total today I have completed four classes. So as a total of all today's I was able to complete 8 classes. The The rest of the two classes were finished by 5thfinished by 15 November 2020 in the 2:30 session I have completed the 8th standard class and in the 7:30 session I have completed the ninth standard class. Show the online classes where a new experience for me. It is helped a lot in improving my teaching strategies as well as my communication skills.Was a new experience and i have enjoyed a lot.
